Welcome to First Friends
 
The same preschool program that was so well-received by hundreds of families at the Tauchman House, is now being offered in a bright, engaging setting in Old Town Wilsonville, just off I-5. 
Our teacher, Vicki Blacken, has been teaching local children for twenty-eight years. 
We have created a colorful, enriching early childhood environment for young children to express themselves, experience a variety of activities, and develop their first friendships. 
Our learning space is self-contained, enclosed and designed specifically for preschoolers and grade school children. In a controlled, safe environment, children at First Friends are encouraged to freely explore and make choices about their day. 

Teacher Vicki’s goal is to send each preschooler on to kindergarten with a positive attitude about school, an eagerness to learn, and the skills needed to be successful, self-assured and self-directed. 
The First Friends experience shows children that learning is fun, while introducing them to the daily structure that prepares them for elementary school. Families looking for a community-based, private program, with small classes, will find First Friends a good fit for their child.
